Evelyn is actually a very nice girl, made too look like a trouble maker by her two step sisters. She has a tendency to hold in her anger, having forced herself to do so for so long. She can sometimes be a little stubborn and, depending on who you are, she may be a little hostile toward you at first. She's mostly this way with men. It's a feat to earn her trust for sure. She acts a lot tougher than she really is.

history:

Evelyn was born and raised in Devil's Hollow. Her mother was a beautiful woman who took wonderful care of her daughter up until the day she died of illness. Evelyn had been six years old at the time. Her father, who had loved his wife deeply, had been devastated, sinking into a depression.

It wasn't very long before he brought someone else home. It had been less than a year since his wife's death when he brought Hilary and her two children home with him, after having been away on business. That's when things really changed for Evelyn.

She hated her stepmother who constantly bossed her around, yelling at her and getting her to do things for her while her own daughters were spoiled rotten and did nothing. She always toned it down when Evelyn's father was around though or tried to make it look like Evelyn was just a troublemaker. He always believed his wife over his daughter, though he did hav a soft spot for Evelyn. She was his daughter after all.

For years Evelyn was tormented by her stepsisters, taking her things, teasing her or getting her into trouble. There was one thing she would never let them near though, and that was the gorgeous necklace her mother had left her while on her death bed. Evelyn did everything to keep that necklace away from them. One day, furious that they couldn't get their hands on the necklace, Evelyn's stepsisters framed her for stealing. So... her stepmother convinced her father to marry her off and get the troublemaker out of the house.
