†vampires†
Up all night and asleep all day, these vampires aren't creatures to mess with. And they don't sparkle in the sunlight. In fact, they can't even go out in the sunlight or they'll burn. You can keep them at bay with garlic and holy water. Hell, if you have enough holy water, you could probably kill one. The good thing is, they can't come into your house unless they're invited. You can always get rid of them by stabbing them in their cold lifeless heart if you do make the mistake of letting them in though. Be careful not to let them get to you though, or you'll be the next vampire in town...
What's that? How do you become a vampire?
In order to become a vampire, your character has to be bitten and almost drained to the point of death. At this point, your character must drink the blood of this vampire. That would make this vampire your creator.
The process is not yet permanent though! In order for your vampire to become a permanent vampire, they have to drink the blood of a human first. (You do not have to have it be an actual character that your vampire drinks from though, it doesn't matter.) A new vampire can survive for a while without human blood, but will eventually grow weak and after about a month, will die. If your vampire has not yet bitten a human, then he or she can be redeemed, but only
