SO YOU'VE DECIDED TO JOIN US HERE ON DEVIL'S HOLLOW? IF YOU NEED HELP GETTING STARTED, THIS IS THE THREAD FOR YOU. WE'LL TAKE YOU STEP BY STEP THROUGH THE APPLICATION PROCESS AND HELP YOU OUT WITH WHATEVER YOU MAY NEED.

So, welcome to Devil's Hollow. I'm your Admin(yes, it says mod, multiple accounts), Tara, but you can call me either Tara or Mercy. I don't mind either. Just remember, I'm here to help you out!

1. If you've already registered or are thinking about registering, your first step should definitely be to check out our rules, HERE. Be sure to pay extra special attention because the rules may hold some information you will need later.

2. Now that you've read the rules and registered, lets go to your profile to change your display name. Click 'modify profile' and go down to where it says *Display Name. When you change your display name, your username will stay the same. You display name should be your character's first and last name only. Example: Joe Dirt. Scroll down to the bottom and Click 'Modify Profile'

3. Your next step should be to create your character. If you need further information on the site, then just poke around through the required info or ask someone. To fill out a character application, go to the Character Creation board. The application is located in the main Character Creation board. Copy the code and head over to the Pending sub board. Here, you can start a new thread, paste the code and get started. An example application can be shown in the next post.

4. While waiting for your character to be accepted(you won't have to wait long), take advantage of the time to make a face claim, found in the Claims board. Just like I did for your application, I'll show you an example of a face claim as well. That will be in the third post.

5. If your character has not been accepted, no big deal, just go back and fix your app and we'll review it again. If you have been accepted, congrats! You can start RPing. If you have the chance, stop by the Greetings and Goodbyes board to say hello in our WHO'S WHO thread.
