Lucas James Livingston is one smooth cat. He is always looking for a good time, and causing some sort of trouble. His nickname around town when he was younger was the Devils Child. Although he caused trouble and gave everyone headaches, he was always liked. He has a bomb of a smile, eyes to melt you, and really is a sweet guy. He is a ladies man, and is proud of it. His brother is more modest and is always trying to keep Luke out of trouble. However, at heart he is a bit of a softy and romantic, but he doesn't want anyone to know, so he hides behind the ladies man persona. When, and IF, he falls truly in love with a girl, she better hold on to her skirt, for this man is quick sand. He will sweep her off her feet and never let her go. If he can find a woman strong and brave enough to break down that wall of his, and convince him that he can trust her and open up.

He is headstrong and courageous. And rarely backs down from a fight. He is well educated, compliments of his parents, mostly his father, and can be very clever and at times, a bit cocky.

history:

Lucas James has had a luxurious life. His parents are rich, his father being a lawyer, and is always pushing Luke to be better in every way. His father wants Luca to be a lawyer just like him, and take over the family business, and although Luke feels like it is his duty, and that it will happen in time, he rebels at the idea every chance he gets. His younger brother Alec tries to be the mediator between the too when they butt heads, but sometimes it is a lost cause. His mother feels Luke should follow in his fathers footsteps, but is more lenient at letting him go out and have his fun. She often reminds him that after the fun he will have to settle down, with a girl and the family business.

Luke has spent the last decade trying to break free, be care free and do what he wants when he wants. He used to think he could get away from all that, but over time and as he has matured, he is starting to prepare himself for his future duties, as a husband to be to some good woman, and a lawyer of his fathers business. But although he has thoughts in the back of his head about preparing to grow up, he is still out having a good time, and going out with a bang.

Six months ago, Luca was going with a girl, Emma and things progressed faster and more serious before Lucas even knew it. He fell for her and fell hard. His mother loved the girl, and gave Lucas and engagement ring to give to her, a ring that had been in the family for generations. The night he was going to propose to Emma, she told him she met someone else, and because her parents liked the other man more than they liked Lucas, she chose him. Well, Emma's parents helped her choose. So she left him, with a ring in his pocket. He kept the ring, and every once in a while pulls it out and looks at it. Since then he has not invested much emotion into the girls he 'dates'. But just maybe, some special girl will come along and help him open up and really be free.
