history:

Eric was born and raised in Devil's Hollow, the second born child of Elias and Shannon Calder. He was always a great kid, excelling in most things and loved to read, constantly reading mysteries. He vowed at a young age that one day he would be a detective like the ones in the books he read.

And so, that's exactly what he did. When he was a kid, he was always following around the local police, helping them in anyway he could. Some of them didn't mind, but one or two probably found it annoying. When he was old enough, he finally became exactly what he wanted to be, a detective. A detective who failed to solve his first case.

It had been a gruesome case, a brutal murder in which the body of a young girl had been completely drained of blood. It scared him a little because the girl reminded him so much of his own two sisters. He failed the case, never having caught the culprit. To this day it still haunts him. The once case he never solved, because after that, he became one of the best.
